Are you a full service?

Can I hire you to design my website?

Yes. If you are only looking for design services, give us a call. We can provide all of the needed assets to your web development team.

Can I hire you to program my website?

Of Course! Design is a not a requirement of ours. We do like to handle projects from start to finish but also work well with teams looking for additional support.

I need help creating a marketing plan for my website. Do you provide consulting services?

Yes we do. We can create a strategy that provides the maximum exposure for your website. From general consulting to the technical side of how things tick. We have the ability to handle the process from start to finish. Consulting is one of the first steps in our process.

How long will it take to build a website?

On average, we can launch most website projects within a 1-3 month period. Your goals and the complexity of the project will have a large impact on the website lifecycle. We strive to meet all of our project deadlines. If your time requirements differ, contact us directly to determine a feasible deadline.

What’s the difference between a website and a blog?

There is no difference when it comes to the development process between a website and a blog. In essence a blog is a website and some websites function like blogs. What you decide to use depends on your goals and expectations. In most cases, blogs tend to offer a constant stream of information updated regularly while websites tend to stay static and update less frequently according to the change going on within the company. Both take advantage of CMS engines and both require a comprehensive strategy in order to have a successful lifecycle online.

What is a Content Management System?

A content management system or “CMS” allows you to make updates, add pages and graphics to your websites without the need of knowing how to program. We use CMS engines for our websites in order to make the maintenance of these websites easier and more efficient. This allows you to take control of your content.

Do you offer a maintenance plan for my website?

We do offer on-going maintenance for websites we develop and those we take over. We do not offer a plan as maintenance tends to differ from one website to the next. Call us for more details.

What is a portal?

A portal or hub is an online location used by organizations in order to centralize various types of content and information. Portals can be private or public.

What is an intranet?

An intranet is very similar to a portal. It offers a centralized location for organizations looking to keep important content within reach throughout their company. An intranet is often secured and only accessible via internal networks.

Do you offer intranet development services?

Yes. Intranet development services unique and often change and mold to the internal needs of a growing organization. As such, development is approached differently than traditional website development services. What is SEO?

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a strategy and development method used to increase a websites ranking and visibility within search engines. Proper SEO campaigns require a tremendous amount of development, testing and consistent engagement in order to prove successful often leading to a promotion or point of purchase.

Do you offer SEO services?

We develop our websites with SEO in mind. We ensure that the development, structure and information is positioned for optimal searching and crawling by all search engines. We have resource partners available to help develop a successful SEO campaign when required.

Do you develop mobile applications?

What is a mobile landing page?

A mobile landing page offers a point of access on mobile devices to your website or web pages. Mobile landing pages are flexible and offer quick access to specific content. Often, mobile landing pages are tied to a campaign and offer the ability to connect with users by providing opt-in forms and links to social media sites.

Will my website work on mobile devices?

Most websites are not designed or developed for optimal performance on mobile devices and require additional development in order to function properly. As such, optimizing any website for mobile viewing is an additional service we provide. We can optimize any website to provide the most optimal viewing experience for any web enabled device including mobile devices.

Does JL Creative provide other services other than developing websites?

Yes! JL Creative is a full service design and development studio. We design websites and have helped most of our clients with additional services including print design, video production, photography and brand id development. Do you work with small budgets?

Yes. Each project has different requirements and rarely the same budget. Our goal is to help you succeed. We are flexible and able to work with most budgets small or large. We also offer budget splits, which allow you to pay for your projects over an extended period of time. Certain requirements apply. Contact us for details.

What does the process look like once we’ve had our initial meeting?

Our process is very straightforward. Since no project is alike, the process molds to your project and goals. Generally, we set up a set of discovery sessions to get things moving. Those sessions will determine the goals, direction and requirements of your project. We put together a schedule and commence execution of your project. We encourage involvement and a constant flow of ideas throughout the design and development process.

Can you take over a job started by someone else?

Yes. Although we would prefer starting a project from inception, we can help you if a current website project is in need of additional support in order to move forward.

To what extent will you need me involved?

We encourage our clients to get involved in their projects while we do most of the heavy lifting. You know your company and product best; we know how to market those services. Together we can achieve maximum creative. We also understand how valuable time is so we establish your availability and involvement upfront ensuring an efficient project lifecycle.

How often will I receive updates on progress?

We update on project progress as often as needed in order to ensure a proper execution. Our initial meeting will determine the regularity of project updates we send you.

Do you print the material?

No we do not. JL creative is not a print shop. We work with service providers who can handle any print job for us. We focus on the creative and execution of your projects. We do offer print management if your project requires printing services.

Do you have a payment plan?

We offer budget splits, which allow you to pay for your projects over an extended period of time. Certain requirements apply. Contact us for details. We do not offer financing.

Do you offer web hosting?

No. We do not offer web hosting. We can recommend services we use often and trust.

What is a Branded Experience™?

A Branded Experience refers to the type of work we create for our clients. A Branded Experience provides your customers with branded user experience in any medium provided. Your brand plays the star role ensuring users know and trust who they are doing business with. From print, web, broadcast or other traditional formats, branding the experience is our focus.
